Far back in 1994 I had the ambition to build my own car! Something different from that we were used to see on the streets in Bulgaria, at this time the 90% of the car market was imports from the Big Brother country USSR. Excited by the variety of shapes of all new West arrivals more and more frequently seen I designed a car that would like to present you in a few lines.
Combining real forms and aerodynamic I was racing my mind at 180mph. Using the start engine of a helicopter Mi-24, giving power of around 60bhp and at the same time low weight and compact dimensions. Developing practically unlimited revolutions per minute (rpm.) I told this speed is possible! The height working temperature, doesn't’t require a cooling system could supply with huge amount of hot air in the car after the first 1-2 minutes of work during the coolest months of the year.
Of course the engine has it’s own disadvantages the most considerable is requirement of a specific fuel some times in big quantities. The height rpm's are reduced right after the engine and we have a very conventional look. There after a shaft translating the torque to an automatic transmission Variomatic, created by DAF implemented in the legendary 55 Coupe in 70’s used recently by Volvo. I just want to say that this is very simple transmission that theoretically lets the car develop equal speed both ways going forward or reverse!
The body. The body is made of composite materials for minimum weight it sits on a Steel Tube Chassis frame. The car suspension is trusted to four torsion bars and shock absorbers of course. Well, I’ve never got around to test the model, but as you read it all feel free to try just don’t forget drop a few lines.
